Foot patrol (24/11/2025)

Yesterday, Lee returned to the ward after 3 weeks away alongside Rick for full coverage of the Parkside beat and an after-school visit to Rush Green Primary (7.65 miles).

Hooks Hall Drive (1.04pm) opened the patrol, followed by the likes Park Drive, Grove Gardens, Fir Tree Walk (1.22pm, p) and Parkside House (1.28pm). Eastbrook Close (1.45pm), Macdonald Avenue and Luke Allsopp Square (2.09pm) via Woodshire Road also saw coverage.

It was then through Central Park and out into Thorntons Farm Avenue (2.29pm) to check on college hotspots including the alley and nearby Fourth Avenue.

It was then on to Rush Green Primary to see out the children and monitor parking issues raised at the team's September ward Panel Meeting (WPM).

All of Parish Fields (4.01pm, p), Great Cullings and Eastbrook Drive (4.20pm, p) rounded off the afternoon on the ward.

Before arriving back at Dagenham Police Station, the team assisted with a vulnerable person locked out of their address. After several phone calls and an equal number of hours, the resident was safely returned home.
